Mrs. Cook's ELA 6th grade students stepped into the role of fashion designer over the last 2 weeks. They used descriptive writing strategies to create a persuasive paragraph convincing the selection committee to choose their "ugly sweater" design for a fashion show. They developed strong vocabulary and descriptive phrases, worked on a graphic organizer, enhanced basic sentences with detailed descriptions, and finally, created a drawing or prototype of their sweater, accompanied with the written description. Students and staff voted for various categories earlier this week. Check out the video to see the First Annual Ugly Winter Sweater Contest winners!

Noble 4-5 Elementary Community:

Noble 4-5 Elementary School houses all of the fourth and fifth-grade students in Tiffin City Schools. The current enrollment is 370 students, with approximately 260 attending in person. The remaining students attend the Tornado Academy, Tiffin City Schools' online program.

Please remember that schools exist to educate your child. Our purpose is to help children develop to the full extent of their capabilities. You, your child, and the school participate in attaining this goal. A school is most successful when both the family and school work together to ensure a quality education for all children. By working together as a team your child ultimately benefits.

If you have a problem, please call your child’s teacher or Mr. Newlove, the Principal. We are here to help. Make this a fine school year. Encourage your child to learn!
