Dear TC Community,
March Spotlight
Noble Elementary: I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Newlove and the entire Noble staff for their continuous dedication and hard work. At the February Board Meeting, Mr. Newlove highlighted the tremendous work that his staff is doing with students, specifically, in the area of literacy. The intentional focus on high quality instruction while supporting the whole-child is outstanding.
Anticipated Levy Update: I fully support and recommend placing the levy on the ballot for November 2025. We are currently determining state funding and assessing the district's needs versus wants. It is crucial for us to maintain fiscal responsibility and due diligence. The Board is focusing on the best avenue to increase financial support and is leaning towards an earned income tax proposal.
District Update: Factors such as space, weather, and air conditioning are important for our daily operations. Our staff consistently shows up to provide the best education for our students. We will continue to focus on the district plan with the Board of Education, Superintendent, and Treasurer.
Student and Staff Recognition: Congratulations to all our sports teams wrapping up their seasons! Bowling concludes this week, and wrestling is coming up this weekend. We have seen significant improvements in both the girls' and boys' basketball teams, as well as in our Performing Arts students. A special acknowledgment goes to all students, coaches, and staff for a successful winter sports season.
Board Meeting Take-Aways: The Board recognized the efforts of the entire staff during the past several weeks. The schedule has been difficult to manage. Special recognition was given to Mr. DeVore, the maintenance and custodial staff.
I also thanked surrounding districts for their collaboration, ensuring the safety of our students and staff. The Board commended the district for prioritizing safety and thanked the transportation department for their diligence.
Finally, The Board and Administration Team congratulated the cheerleading team for their outstanding performance at the recent competition, noting their exceptional skills and talent.
Thank you all for your hard work and commitment to our students and community.
